BMC Trade Apprentice Selection Process 2026
The selection process does not involve a conventional written examination. Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic/ITI performance and applicable reservation provisions.
1. Apprenticeship India Registration
Candidates who have passed ITI in Maharashtra must log in to the Apprenticeship India portal and select MCGM under the Apprenticeship Opportunities section.
2. Walk-in Application
Eligible candidates must attend the BMC recruitment camp on the date applicable to their trade. The candidate has to submit the prescribed application form along with self-attested copies of the required documents.
3. Merit Based on ITI Marks
Candidates will be considered based on the maximum marks obtained in the final ITI examination, together with the applicable social and horizontal reservation provisions.
4. Tie-Breaking
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks, preference will be given according to age seniority based on date of birth.
5. Merit List
The list of selected apprentices will be published on the BMC website. Selection remains subject to verification of the candidate's original educational and other relevant certificates.

7. Apprenticeship Contract

8. Offer Acceptance
Candidates must accept the online offer within 7 days of receiving it. Failure to accept the offer within the prescribed period can result in cancellation of selection, after which the next candidate in the merit list may be considered.
