Educational Qualification
For ITI Trade Apprentices:

Pass in 10th standard.

Pass in ITI/NTC in one of the trades specified in the notification.
For Technician (Vocational) Apprentices:

Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the concerned discipline.
Other Eligibility Requirements

Minimum age: 18 years as on 08.10.2026.

Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards under the Apprentices Act and Apprenticeship Rules.

The applicant must be a domicile of Kerala.

Reservation will apply according to Government of India rules.
Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training in another organisation for any duration under the Apprentices Act, 1961, are not eligible to apply.
CSL Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process
The CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 selection process is primarily based on merit.
Step 1: Shortlisting
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification for the respective trade or vocation. If candidates have the same percentage, relative merit will be decided based on seniority in age.
Step 2: Certificate Verification
Shortlisted candidates will be informed through their registered email ID and must appear for certificate verification.
