DGQA Technician Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

Written Test:

The first stage is an objective-type test with MCQs. No negative marking. The paper carries 100 questions for 100 marks in total, divided equally across four sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language & Comprehension, and Numerical Aptitude.

Shortlisting:

After the written test, candidates are shortlisted for the Trade Test based on their marks

Trade Test:

Shortlisted candidates appear for a practical trade test carrying 100 marks, with a minimum qualifying marks of 40.

Merit List:

After both tests are conducted, a merit list is prepared trade-wise and establishment-wise based on written test marks.

Document Verification:

Original documents of selected candidates are verified for authenticity.

Medical Examination:

Shortlisted candidates undergo a medical fitness test at a Government hospital.
