GADVASU Non-Teaching Selection Process 2026
The selection process differs slightly according to the post.
Clerk Selection Process
The Clerk recruitment includes:
- Punjabi Language Test
- Main Examination
- Punjabi & English Typing Proficiency Tests

The Punjabi Language Test is qualifying in nature, carries 50 marks, and requires 50% marks. There is no negative marking.
The Main Examination consists of 100 MCQs for 100 marks, with questions from General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Punjab History and Culture, Reasoning, Punjabi, English and ICT. A minimum of 40% marks is required, with 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer.

Storekeeper Selection Process

Steno Typist Selection Process

The shorthand test is conducted in English and Punjabi, with dictation at 80 words per minute. Candidates can have a maximum of 8% mistakes in each language.
