ICF Apprentice Selection Process 2026
The ICF Apprentice selection process is merit-based. There is no written examination date mentioned in the notification.

For candidates affected by COVID-19 pass arrangements in Class 10, the notification specifies that Class 9 marks or Class 10 half-yearly marks, duly signed by the institution's Principal, may be considered for preparing the merit list.
If two candidates obtain equal marks, the older candidate will be preferred. If their dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the Class 10 examination earlier will be considered first.
For Fresher candidates, trade allotment will be based on merit, trade preference and availability of vacancies. Once a trade is allotted, requests for changing the trade will not be entertained. Ex-ITI candidates will receive training in the trade mentioned on their ITI certificate.
Selected candidates must also meet the prescribed physical fitness and medical requirements. A medical certificate from a government-authorised doctor of the prescribed rank has to be produced during document verification.
