Salary and Training
Selected candidates undergo a five-year training programme, which includes basic military training at OTA Gaya and technical training leading to an engineering degree. On completion, they are commissioned as Lieutenants with Permanent Commission. The pay scale for Lieutenant has been Level 10 (?56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 per month) in earlier notices.
