Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has released the IOB Bank Security Guard Recruitment 2026 notification for 25 Security Guard posts. The recruitment is exclusively for eligible Ex-Servicemen and Ex-Agniveers, excluding disabled Ex-Servicemen. Online applications will be accepted from 25 August 2026 to 14 September 2026.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must:

• Have passed 10th standard or equivalent.

• Must not have passed Graduation or its equivalent.

• Be able to speak, read and write Tamil.

• Be an eligible Ex-Serviceman/Ex-Agniveer from the Army, Navy or Air Force.

IOB Security Guard Selection Process 2026

IOB Security Guard Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be placed in the subordinate staff cadre under the applicable Bipartite Settlement.

The notified pay scale is:

Rs. 19,500 – 665/4 – 22,160 – 830/5 – 26,310 – 990/4 – 30,270 – 1,170/3 – 33,780 – 1,345/3 – 37,815

The Bank has also stated that the basic pay will be fixed based on the candidate's last drawn salary during defence service, along with applicable emoluments and benefits.
