ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2026 Age Limit

The minimum age for all posts is 18 years.

The age is calculated as on 04 September 2026.

For reserved vacancies, SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation and OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation. Other eligible categories such as Ex-Servicemen, PwBD, departmental candidates and certain women candidates can receive relaxation as per Government of India rules.

ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

For Technical Assistant and Technician/Draughtsman Posts

For Post Nos. 813, 814, 815, 816 and 817, the selection process consists of:

1. Written Examination

2. Skill Test

The written examination will contain 80 objective questions and will have a duration of 90 minutes.

• 1 mark for every correct answer

• 0.33 negative marking for every wrong answer

• Questions will be based on the prescribed curriculum.

• Both theoretical and practical knowledge will be tested.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the Skill Test in a 1:5 ratio, with at least 10 candidates where applicable.

The Skill Test is conducted on a Go/No-Go basis, and its marks will not be counted for final selection. Final selection is based on written-test marks among candidates who qualify the Skill Test.

For Fireman ‘A’

For Post No. 802, the selection process includes:

• Written Test

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

The written test will have 80 MCQs, with a duration of 120 minutes and 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.
