ULB Haryana Selection Process

The selection process is based on scrutiny and merit. Applications will be scrutinized at the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies level by a committee.

Taxation Expert – Evaluation

The Taxation Expert selection carries 100 marks:

• Percentage of marks in CA – 60 marks

• CA merit list/top 50 rank holder – additional marks as prescribed

• First-attempt qualification – marks as prescribed

• Relevant accounting/taxation/financial management experience – up to 10 marks

• Government/PSU/Board/Corporation/Authority experience – up to 10 marks

Taxation Associate – Evaluation

The Taxation Associate selection is also based on 100 marks, including:

• MBA/PGDM Finance marks – 60 marks

• NIRF ranking of the institution – 20 marks

• Relevant accounting/taxation/financial management experience – up to 10 marks

• Government/PSU/Board/Corporation/Authority experience – up to 10 marks

Sanitation Expert/Associate – Evaluation

The Sanitation selection criteria include:

• Marks in the minimum required qualification – 60 marks

• Valid GATE score – up to 20 marks

• Relevant experience in Solid Waste Management/Environmental Science & Engineering – up to 20 marks

• Government/PSU/Board/Corporation/Authority experience – additional marks as prescribed in the notice.

ULB Haryana Salary / Pay Scale

The monthly remuneration mentioned in the notice is:

• Taxation Expert: Rs1,00,000 per month

• Taxation Associate: Rs50,000 per month

• Sanitation Expert/Associate: Rs50,000 per month

Tenure of Engagement

Selected candidates who are willing to work in any municipality or other office under the Urban Local Bodies Department may initially be engaged for one year.

The engagement may be extended up to three years, subject to satisfactory year-to-year performance.

Candidates will be required to provide their choice of three places of posting.

Either party may terminate the engagement by providing the mandatory 30 days' notice, subject to the terms specified in the notice.
