• Selection is based on a merit list of 400 total marks: 360 marks for the written exam + 40 marks for the interview.

• Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark (negative marking) for wrong or multiple answers.
• Candidates shortlisted based on written exam marks will be called for interview.
• In case of tie in merit, preference is given based on written exam marks, then interview marks, then percentage in essential qualification/PhD/NET, and finally higher age.
