Assistant Professor Selection Age Limit

Assistant Professor Selection Process
- Selection is based on a merit list of 400 total marks: 360 marks for the written exam + 40 marks for the interview.
- Written Exam: 120 objective-type (MCQ) questions — 30 General Knowledge + 90 subject-related questions.
- Duration: 2 hours.
- Marking Scheme: +3 marks for each correct answer; -1 mark (negative marking) for wrong or multiple answers.
- Candidates shortlisted based on written exam marks will be called for interview.
- In case of tie in merit, preference is given based on written exam marks, then interview marks, then percentage in essential qualification/PhD/NET, and finally higher age.

- Pay Level: Level-10
- Pay Scale: Rs57,700 – Rs1,82,400 per month
