1. Mandatory Knowledge: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both & possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules,1967 is mandatory.

2. Domicile is mandatory: Special recruitment drive for PwBD candidates of Gujarat State; reservation and relaxation benefits apply to candidates of Gujarat domicile.

3. How to apply: Apply online via OJAS portal (https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in) from 15/10/2026 (14:00 hrs) to 29/10/2026 (23:59 hrs).

4. Hard copy sending date: No postal submission; online application only.

5. Fees:100 online fee for PwBD reserved categories payable by 01/11/2026 (non-refundable for appeared candidates).

6. Selection process: Competitive Written Examination (Paper-I Nursing Subject for 100 marks + Paper-II Gujarati Language for 100 marks; 2 hours each; negative marking 0.25; minimum 40% qualifying marks in each paper) followed by document verification.

7. Certificates needed: Registration with Gujarat Nursing Council (or required before appointment), Disability Certificate in Form V/VI/VII as per RPwD Rules 2017, computer knowledge certificate (CCC), and caste certificate (if applicable).

8. Other relevant details: Upper age limit relaxed by 10 to 20 years for PwBD candidates (up to maximum 45 years); fixed pay of 40800 per month for the first 5 years.
