2. Domicile is mandatory: Reservation and age relaxation benefits apply exclusively to candidates of Gujarat domicile.

3. How to apply: Apply online through OJAS portal (https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in) from 15/10/2026 (19:00 hrs) to 29/10/2026 (23:59 hrs).

4. Hard copy sending date: No postal submission; online application only.

5. Fees: 500 for Unreserved; 400 for Reserved categories (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/women/PwBD/Ex-SM) payable online up to 01/11/2026 (fee refunded to candidates who appear in examination).

6. Selection process: Single-stage CBRT/OMR Competitive Examination of 210 marks (Part-A: Aptitude/Reasoning/GK/Comprehension for 90 marks + Part-B: Technical Civil questions for 120 marks; composite time 3 hours; negative marking 0.25; minimum 40% qualifying marks in both parts) followed by document verification.

7. Certificates needed: 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering (or recognized equivalent diploma), basic computer application certificate (CCC), caste/non-creamy layer/EWS certificate, and photo ID.

8. Other relevant details: Candidates holding B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering are strictly not eligible to apply, they also required 1-basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil

Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967. 2- adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.; fixed salary of 26000 per month for the first 5 years.
