Overview

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior (ABV IIITM Gwalior) has released the Assistant Professor (Grade-I) Recruitment 2026 notification, inviting online applications for 24 faculty vacancies across the Information Technology (IT), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Engineering Sciences (ES), and Management Studies (MS) departments.

Where a university/institution does not mention "first class," candidates should have secured at least 6.5 CGPA/CPI on a 10-point scale, or 60% marks in aggregate (equivalent conversion rules as specified by the individual institute/university apply). At least one degree from graduation onward should be from IISc/IITs/IIITs/NITs/IIMs/ISI/IISERs, or the candidate should be working in a regular pay scale at one of these institutes. Candidates with a Ph.D. or preceding degrees from abroad may be considered if the degree is from a National University/Institute of the respective country, or from an institution ranked up to 500 in the QS/THE World Rankings.
