AIIMS Guwahati Faculty Recruitment 2026 (Professor, Assistant Professor and More 63 Posts)

Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Guwahati has released the Faculty Recruitment 2026 notification for 63 vacancies across 31 departments. The recruitment includes Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts.

Candidates up to 58 years for Professor and Additional Professor posts and up to 50 years for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts, with the prescribed medical or non-medical qualifications and required teaching or research experience, can apply. The online application process is open until 15 September 2026, followed by submission of the signed hard copy by 30 September 2026.

The selection process includes application screening, a screening test if required, and an interview. Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 1,01,500 to Rs. 1,68,900 per month, along with applicable allowances and NPA for medically qualified candidates.

Associate Professor	13	Same basic qualification as Professor, with 3 to 6 years of teaching/research experience depending on the qualifying degree.
Assistant Professor	17	Same basic qualification as Professor, with 0 to 3 years of teaching/research experience depending on the qualifying degree.
