Overview

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Vijayawada has released eight Brief Notifications, all dated 15 September 2026, inviting online applications for 299 provisional vacancies across eight subordinate services of the Andhra Pradesh Government. Forest Section Officer	26	Bachelor's degree with Botany, Forestry, Horticulture, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, or Agriculture as a subject, or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Civil), from a recognised university or equivalent. Forest Beat Officer	23	Must have passed the Intermediate examination or its equivalent. Physical requirements are detailed in the online Detailed Notification.
Draughtsman Grade-II (Technical Assistant)	20	A trade certificate in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade, i.e. ITI in the state or its equivalent examination.
District Probation Officer Grade-II / Intake Probation Officer	15	Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Psychology, or any graduation with an M.A. in Social Work or Psychology, or an M.A. with specialisation in Criminology or Correctional Administration, from a University in India established/incorporated by a Central, State, or Provincial Act.
Forest Range Officer	04	Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university, or equivalent, in one of the following subjects: Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications/Computer Science, Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical), Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, or Zoology.
