BMC Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (Walk in for 612 Posts)

Overview

BMC Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Mumbai, has released a recruitment notification for 612 Trade Apprentice posts under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship training will be conducted for a period of one year across various BMC departments, sections and hospitals. Eligible ITI-qualified candidates from Maharashtra can participate in the walk-in recruitment drive scheduled on 20 and 21 August 2026.

The recruitment includes trades such as Electrician, Plumber, Diesel Mechanic, COPA, Fitter, Wireman, Welder, Carpenter, Mechanic Motor Vehicle and others. Candidates must have passed the required secondary-school qualification as well as the relevant ITI examination. Selection will primarily be based on marks obtained in the final ITI examination, along with applicable social and horizontal reservation rules.

Character Verification Certificate Submission : Within 2 months of training start date
