CRPF Constable (Sports Quota) Recruitment 2026 (Head Constable & Constable 521 Posts)

Overview

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released the CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026 notification, inviting online applications from meritorious male and female sportspersons for 521 vacancies of Head Constable (General Duty) and Constable (General Duty) under the Sports Quota–2026. The recruitment covers 22 sports disciplines, offering a valuable opportunity for outstanding athletes to join one of India's largest Central Armed Police Forces.

The online application process will begin on 12 October 2026 at 9:00 AM and remain open until 11 November 2026 at 11:59 PM through the official CRPF Recruitment Portal (rect.crpf.gov.in). Applications will be accepted only in online mode, and candidates should complete their registration before the closing date.

Eligible candidates must be meritorious sportspersons who fulfill the prescribed educational qualification, age limit, sports achievement criteria, and other eligibility conditions specified in the official notification. Candidates should carefully verify the post-wise eligibility, recognized sports achievements, reservation provisions, and discipline-wise vacancy details before applying.

The selection process will be conducted according to CRPF Sports Quota recruitment guidelines and may include sports trials, physical standards verification, document verification, medical examination, and other post-specific stages mentioned in the official notification. Selected candidates will be appointed as Head Constable (GD) or Constable (GD) in the Central Reserve Police Force and will receive salary and service benefits as per the applicable Central Government pay scales.

Rs. 100/- for male UR/OBC/EWS candidates.
Exempted for all female candidates and for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Cut-off Date : 1 August 2026
Date of Birth Range : Not before 2 August 2003 and not after 1 August 2008
