CSIR NAL Recruitment 2026 (Project Assistant, Project Associate and More 89 Posts)
Overview

CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories (CSIR-NAL), Bengaluru, a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, has released Advertisement No. 13/2026/PS, published on 05 August 2026, inviting applications for various Project Staff positions. The recruitment includes Project Assistant (PA-I, PA-II), Project Associate (PAT-I, PAT-I NET/GATE, PAT-II, PAT-II NET/GATE), Senior PAT, and Principal PAT positions across disciplines such as Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronics, Chemistry, Metallurgy, and Computer Science. The position-wise vacancies add up to approximately 89 posts.

There is no online application process for this recruitment. Eligible Indian Nationals who already possess the required degree/diploma can participate in the Walk-in-Interview scheduled between 10 August 2026 and 25 August 2026, according to the post and specialization. Candidates must report with the prescribed application form and required documents. The maximum age limit is 35 years, and there is no application fee. The walk-in interviews will be conducted at CSIR-NAL (RAB Meeting Complex), Kodihalli, Bengaluru – 560017, with registration from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM on the respective interview dates.

Age Limit
  • The maximum age limit is 35 years for all posts under this notification, assessed as on the date of the Walk-in-Interview for the relevant post.
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates (or as per Government of India instructions issued from time to time). Candidates must clearly mention their category and attach documentary proof; without this proof, age relaxation will not be entertained and the candidate will not be permitted to appear for interview.
