CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (Graduate and Technician Apprentice 139 Posts)
Overview

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed Mini Ratna Schedule 'A' Company of the Government of India under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has released the CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification (Notification No. CSL/P&A/APPE/SEL. DESIGNTD/DEGREE_DIPLOMA_2023_2024/2023/4, dated 12 August 2026) for the engagement of Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973.

A total of 139 apprenticeship training seats are available, including 61 Graduate Apprentice and 78 Technician/Diploma Apprentice positions across engineering and Commercial Practice disciplines. Eligible candidates must be domiciles of Kerala and should have passed their qualifying course in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026. Online registration is open from 12 August 2026 to 01 September 2026 through the NATS portal. There is no application fee, and the one-year apprenticeship training will be conducted at CSL, Kochi, Kerala.

  • A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution empowered to grant such a degree by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline; or
  • A graduate examination of professional bodies recognised by the State or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices 78
  • For Sl. No. 1 to 6 (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation Technology, Civil, and Computer Engineering): a Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council/Board of Technical Education, a University, or an institution recognised by the State or Central Government as equivalent, in the relevant discipline.
  • For Sl. No. 7 (Commercial Practice): a Diploma in Commercial Practice granted by an institution recognised by the State or Central Government.
