CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2026 (Technician and ITI Apprentice 210 Posts)

Overview

The Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a Miniratna Schedule 'A' Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, has released the CSL Technician (Vocational)/Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 notification for 210 apprenticeship seats under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The recruitment includes 205 ITI Trade Apprentice seats and 5 Technician (Vocational) Apprentice seats for one year of apprenticeship training at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi, Kerala.

The apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity for Kerala-domicile candidates with ITI (NTC) or VHSE (Vocational Higher Secondary Education) qualifications to gain industry experience while receiving a monthly stipend of ₹11,000.

The online application process will begin on 16 September 2026 and remain open until 08 October 2026 through the official Cochin Shipyard website. Applications will be accepted only in online mode, and candidates should complete their registration before the deadline.

Eligible candidates must have passed 10th Standard along with an ITI (NTC) in the notified trade, or possess a VHSE qualification in the relevant discipline for Technician (Vocational) Apprentice posts. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and fulfill the Kerala domicile requirement mentioned in the notification.

The selection process will be conducted according to CSL apprenticeship guidelines, generally based on academic merit, followed by certificate verification and other procedures prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Selected candidates will undergo one year of apprenticeship training at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi, and will receive the prescribed ₹11,000 monthly stipend.
