Overview

The East Coast Railway (ECoR), through its Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Bhubaneswar, has released the ECoR GDCE Recruitment 2026 notification (No. ECoR/Pers/RRC-GDCE/2026, dated 07 August 2026) for the General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE). The recruitment covers 1,421 vacancies in Safety and Non-Safety category posts, including Assistant Loco Pilot, Station Master, Goods Trains Manager, Junior Engineer, Technician, Junior Clerk cum Typist, and Commercial Clerk cum Ticket Collector.

Important: This is not an open-market railway recruitment. Only eligible regular employees of East Coast Railway, including employees from the erstwhile Waltair Division/SCoR who currently hold lien in ECoR, can apply. RPF/RPSF staff are excluded, and candidates working outside ECoR are not eligible for this recruitment.
