  • The ECL ITI Apprentices notification does not mention any application fee.
  • Candidates can apply by sending their application and enclosures by post without making any payment.
Age Limit

The official notification does not specify a rigid numerical upper age limit. Instead, eligibility is governed as per the Apprentices Act, 1961.

ITI Apprentice: Fitter, Electrician, Welder 140
  • Candidates applying for any of these three trades must meet the same set of eligibility conditions, which are based on ITI qualification and NAPS portal registration rather than a general degree requirement. All conditions below must be satisfied together.
  • The applicant must possess an ITI certificate in the trade applied for.
  • The applicant must be registered on the NAPS portal in the same trade as the application.
  • The applicant must have secured at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination, i.e., in ITI.
  • A candidate can apply for one trade in either West Bengal or Jharkhand only. If a candidate applies for both, the application will be rejected.
  • Candidates can apply for ANY ONE DISCIPLINE ONLY; applying for more than one discipline results in summary rejection of the application.
