Indian Overseas Bank LBO Recruitment 2026 (250 Local Bank Officer Posts)
Overview
The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has released the IOB Local Bank Officer (LBO) Recruitment 2026-27 notification (Advt. No. HRDD/RECT/02/2026-27, dated 07 August 2026) for 250 Local Bank Officer vacancies in the JMGS-I (Junior Management Grade Scale-I) cadre. Eligible candidates holding a Graduate degree in any discipline can apply online through the official IOB website from 08 August 2026 to 24 August 2026.
The selection process includes an Online Examination, Language Proficiency Test (where applicable), and Personal Interview. Selected candidates will be posted only within the state for which they apply for the first 12 years of service or until promotion to SMGS-IV, whichever is earlier. Application Fee
- SC/ST/PwBD : ₹175 (inclusive of GST) - Intimation charges only
- General/EWS/OBC : ₹850 (inclusive of GST)
Age Limit
- Minimum Age : 20 years.
- Maximum Age : 30 years.
- The maximum age limit applies to General category and EWS candidates. Cumulative age relaxation across categories is available to SC/ST/OBC candidates, subject to a maximum upper age limit of 50 years, and is available only when the candidate meets the conditions prescribed in the relevant Government of India guidelines.
