Overview

The Jharkhand Griha Raksha Vahini (JGRV) has released the Deoghar Home Guard Recruitment 2026 notification under Advertisement No. 01/2026, inviting online applications for 772 Rural and Urban Home Guard vacancies in Deoghar district, Jharkhand. The recruitment aims to engage eligible local residents as Grih Rakshak (Home Guard) for both rural and urban areas of the district.

The online application process will begin on 11 October 2026 and remain open until 26 October 2026 (5:00 PM). Applications will be accepted only through the official Deoghar district website, and candidates should complete their registration within the prescribed timeline.

Candidates must be 19 to 40 years of age as on 01 January 2026 and should be permanent or ordinary residents of the concerned Deoghar block or urban area for which they are applying. For Rural Home Guard posts, candidates must have passed at least Class 7, while Urban Home Guard applicants must have passed Matric (Class 10) or an equivalent qualification.

The selection process will be conducted as per Jharkhand Home Guard recruitment guidelines and is expected to include physical tests, document verification, and other stages mentioned in the official notification. Selected candidates will be appointed as Home Guards in their respective rural or urban areas under the Jharkhand Griha Raksha Vahini.
