JKSSB Class IV MTS Recruitment 2026 (MTS, Sanitation Worker 2863 Posts)
Overview
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released Advertisement No. 09 of 2026, dated 01 September 2026, for the JKSSB Class IV MTS Recruitment 2026, announcing 2,863 vacancies for Class-IV (Multi-Tasking Staff) and Sanitation Worker posts across UT, Divisional, and District Cadres in various Government departments of Jammu & Kashmir.
 
The online application process will be conducted from 05 October 2026 to 03 November 2026 through the official JKSSB website. Candidates holding a valid Jammu & Kashmir Domicile Certificate and possessing the prescribed educational qualification ranging from 8th Pass (for certain Sanitation Worker posts) to Matriculation and 10+2, depending on the post, are eligible to apply.
 
The selection process will be based on an Objective-Type Written Examination followed by Document Verification. Candidates can check the complete details regarding cadre-wise vacancies, educational qualification, age limit, pay scale, important dates before applying.

  • The maximum age limit is 40 years for Open Merit candidates, 43 years for SC/ST-1/ST-2/RBA/ALC-IB/EWS/OBC candidates, and 42 years for PwBD candidates, with additional relaxations for Ex-Servicemen and casual-worker weightage claimants.
