Overview

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the JKSSB Divisional Cadre Recruitment 2026 notification (Advertisement Notification No. 07 of 2026, dated 08 July 2026) inviting online applications for 72 Divisional Cadre (Kashmir Division) vacancies across multiple departments under the Prime Minister's Package for Kashmiri Migrants and Non-Migrant Kashmiri Pandits. The recruitment includes posts such as Draftsman (Civil), Sub-Inspector, Junior Statistical Assistant, Motor Vehicle Traffic Assistant, Junior Librarian, Library Assistant, and Depot Assistant.

Only candidates who are Migrants as defined under SRO 412 of 2009 or Kashmiri Pandits as defined under SRO 425 of 2017, and who hold domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, are eligible to apply. The online application process will be open from 10 August 2026 to 08 September 2026. Selection will be based on a written (OMR-based) examination followed by Document Verification. The application fee is ₹600 (₹500 for SC/ST-1/ST-2/EWS/PwBD candidates), payable online only.
