Overview

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has released the KRCL Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment 2026 notification, inviting applications for 66 deputation vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Senior Assistant Loco Pilot (Senior ALP). This is not a direct recruitment or open market recruitment and is exclusively meant for eligible serving railway employees who fulfill the deputation eligibility conditions prescribed in the notification.

Selected candidates may be posted at any of the Crew Lobbies under KRCL's jurisdiction, including Ratnagiri, Verna, Madgaon, and Surathkal. The normal deputation tenure is three years, subject to the applicable railway deputation rules.

The application process is being conducted through the proper channel. Eligible employees must have their applications forwarded by their parent department to the Chief Personnel Officer, KRCL, Navi Mumbai, on or before 22 October 2026. In addition, an advance copy of the application must be sent via email by 19 October 2026.

Candidates must carefully verify the deputation eligibility, service conditions, post-wise requirements, and other conditions mentioned in the official notification before applying.

The selection process will be conducted according to KRCL deputation recruitment guidelines and may include scrutiny of service records, eligibility verification, and document verification as prescribed in the notification. Selected candidates will serve as Assistant Loco Pilot or Senior Assistant Loco Pilot under Konkan Railway Corporation Limited for the approved deputation period.
