NHM Assam Medical Officer Recruitment 2026 (78 Posts)

Overview

The National Health Mission Assam (NHM Assam) has released the Medical Officer (MBBS) Recruitment 2026 notification on 09 September 2026, inviting online applications for 78 Medical Officer vacancies on a contractual basis. The recruitment offers an excellent opportunity for MBBS-qualified doctors to work under the National Health Mission across various health facilities in Assam.

The online application process is currently active on the official NHM Assam website and will remain open until 22 September 2026. Applications are accepted only in online mode, and candidates should complete the registration before the deadline.

Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized medical college, be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Assam Medical Council (AMC), have at least one year of relevant experience, and be 50 years of age or below as per the eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification.

The selection process will be conducted according to NHM Assam recruitment guidelines, which may include shortlisting, interview, and document verification.
