NIT Agartala Non Teaching Recruitment 2026 (Technician, Lab Attendant and More 51 Posts)

Overview

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala has invited online applications for 51 Non-Teaching posts across 8 post codes. The recruitment includes Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical), Library & Information Assistant, SAS Assistant, Pharmacist, Senior Technician, Technician and Lab Attendant posts.

Applications can be submitted online through the official website nita.ac.in from 20 September 2026 at 10:00 AM to 20 October 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Application Fee

Rs. 1000/- for UR/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates.
Rs. 750/- for SC/ST category candidates (non-refundable), paid online.
No fee is required for PwD candidates.

Age Limit

Age limits range from 27 to 33 years depending on the post, with the lower age limit being 18 years for all posts.
Age relaxation is available as per Government of India norms.

Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical)	05	First Class B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Electrical Engineering, OR First Class Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering with excellent academic record
Library & Information Assistant	05	First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Arts/Commerce and Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science; Desirable: PG Diploma in Library Automation and Networking or PGDCA or equivalent
SAS Assistant	02	First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, with a strong record of participation in sports/drama/music/films/painting/photography/journalism/event management or other student/event management activities during college or university studies
Pharmacist	01	10+2 in Science (PCB/PCM) + 2 Years’ Diploma (First Class) recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with minimum 2 years’ experience in a recognized hospital/pharmacy, OR Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma); must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
Senior Technician	09	Senior secondary (10+2) with Science and at least 60% marks, OR (10+2) with at least 50% marks and a 1-year+ ITI course in an appropriate trade, OR Secondary (10th) with at least 60% marks and a 2-year ITI certificate in an appropriate trade, OR a 3-year Diploma in Engineering in a relevant field; Desirable: Bachelor’s degree
Technician	14	Senior secondary (10+2) with Science and at least 60% marks, OR (10+2) with at least 50% marks and a 1-year+ ITI course in an appropriate trade, OR Secondary (10th) with at least 60% marks and a 2-year ITI certificate in an appropriate trade, OR a 3-year Diploma in Engineering in a relevant field
