Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026 (Driver and Frash 56 Posts)
Overview
The High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh has released the Punjab and Haryana High Court Recruitment 2026 notification for 56 vacancies, including 25 Driver posts and 31 Frash posts. The recruitment is open to eligible candidates aged 18 to 35 years who meet the prescribed educational qualification and other eligibility criteria.
 
The online application process will be conducted from 28 August 2026 to 18 September 2026 (11:59 PM) through the official High Court website, highcourtchd.gov.in. SC/ST/BC of Punjab, Haryana and U.T. Chandigarh -

  • Driver Fee : ₹800/-
  • Frash Fee : ₹600/-

Ex-servicemen -

Age Limit
  • Candidates in all categories, for both posts, must not be less than 18 years and not more than 35 years of age as on 18/09/2026.

  • The candidate should be at least 10+2 pass with Punjabi/Hindi as one of the subjects in the matriculation examination.
  • The candidate should possess a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving licence. No presumption of eligibility to drive an LMV will be drawn merely on the basis of any higher category endorsed on the driving licence.
  • The candidate should not have been convicted of any offence for negligent driving and must have a minimum of two years' experience of driving a car.
Frash 31
  • Knowledge of Hindi and the regional language. No further formal educational qualification is specified in the notification. Proof of date of birth is admissible only through the Matriculation Certificate (for matriculate or higher candidates) or the Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths (for candidates with qualification less than Matric).
