Pathway 1: Degree/Diploma Trades (Annexure-A) -

• A relevant Bachelor's Degree/B.Voc in the corresponding engineering discipline from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution, plus one year of relevant industry or teaching experience; OR
• A 3-year Diploma in the corresponding discipline from an AICTE-recognized institution or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from the Director General of Training, plus two years of relevant industry or teaching experience.
• The exact engineering/technology discipline required (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, Chemical, Textile, Agriculture Engineering, etc.) varies by trade - see the full notification for trade-specific requirements.
• Degree/Diploma holders selected under this category must acquire the National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in their respective trade within three years of appointment, failing which their service will be terminated.

Pathway 2: NTC/NAC Trades (Annexure-B)-

• A National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the corresponding trade from a recognized institution;
• A National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in the corresponding trade; and
  Three years of relevant experience in an organization registered under the Factories Act, 1948, or teaching experience in a government or government-recognized institution.
