Overview

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Paramedical Categories Recruitment 2026 (CEN 05/2026) notification for recruitment to various paramedical and allied health posts across Indian Railways. The recruitment includes posts such as Nursing Superintendent (Staff Nurse), Pharmacist, ECG Technician, Lab Assistant, Health & Malaria Inspector, Dialysis Technician, Radiographer, and other paramedical categories, offering opportunities across different Railway Zones.

The online application process will begin on 15 September 2026 and remain open until 14 October 2026, and applications will be accepted only through the official RRB recruitment portal. Candidates are advised to read the complete official notification before applying, as it contains detailed information regarding post-wise vacancies, eligibility, age limit, educational qualification, application fee, exam pattern, syllabus, and important instructions.

Candidates must possess the prescribed medical, paramedical, diploma, degree, or nursing qualifications required for their respective posts from recognized institutions. The age limit, pay level, and qualification requirements vary by post, and candidates must ensure they satisfy the eligibility criteria before submitting their application.

The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by document verification and medical examination, as applicable for the concerned post. Selected candidates will receive salaries according to the respective 7th CPC Pay Levels, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), and other Railway benefits.
