Candidates must have a Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science or a Graduate/Postgraduate Degree in a Professional Course.

Candidates should also be selected through CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or any national-level examination conducted by Central Government departments/agencies such as DST, DBT, or DAE.
