- Applicants must complete and submit the online application through the official RRC Northern Railway portal (https://www.rrcnr.org) within the specified dates by following all required steps—form filling, fee payment, and document uploading—ensuring that separate applications are submitted for each eligible sport discipline.
- Candidates will be shortlisted through document verification followed by sports trials, after which only those declared FIT will undergo merit-based assessment combining trial performance, sports achievements, and educational qualifications for final selection.
- The vacancies are allocated for specific sports and clearly defined playing positions—such as Boxing (75–80 KG), Athletics (100 Meters / 10 KM), Cricket (Opener / Wicket Keeper), Football (Midfielder / Forward), Handball (Left Wing / Right Wing), Hockey (Midfielder), Kabaddi (Right Cover), and other event-specific roles—to ensure athletes are recruited precisely for the performance requirements of each sport and position.
