Job Details

  1. The application process is completely online and consists of two stages. All candidates must first register themselves on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and apply for the Apprenticeship under the “Apply against advertised vacancies” section for Bank of India. The primary online application window on the NATS portal is from 25 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, and candidates must carefully note their NATS Enrolment ID as it is mandatory for further stages. Eligible candidates who successfully apply on the NATS portal will receive an email from info@bfsissc.com within 48 hours, inviting them to fill the final Application-cum-Examination Fee Form, where they must enter personal details, zone preference, category, PwBD status, and pay the required examination fee. The application process will be considered complete only after the fee is successfully deposited with BFSI SSC.
  2. Selection for engagement of apprentices will be carried out in two stages, comprising an online written examination followed by a test of the local language. The online written test will be of 90 minutes duration and will consist of 100 questions carrying 100 marks, including General/Financial Awareness, English Language, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. Except for the English Language section, the test will be available bilingually in English and Hindi. The English Language section will be of a qualifying nature and its marks will not be considered while preparing the merit list. Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank, with a 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates compared to General category candidates. Candidates qualifying the written test will be required to appear for a local language test, in which they must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding at least one local language of the state applied for. Candidates failing the local language test will not be engaged as apprentices; however, those who can produce 10th or 12th standard certificates showing study of the specified local language will be exempted from this test.
  3. The application or examination fee, along with applicable GST, must be paid online only when demanded by BFSI SSC after successful registration on the NATS portal. The fee is ₹400 plus GST for PwBD candidates, ₹600 plus GST for SC, ST, and all women candidates, and ₹800 plus GST for all other candidates. Bank transaction charges for online payment will be borne by the candidate, and the fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
