Job Details

  1. Interested candidates must apply by email only by sending their application to sukrit.gupta@iitrpr.ac.in. The last date for submission of the application is 10 January 2026. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
  2. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed through email, tentatively by 20 January 2026, to appear for an online interview. The date of the online interview will be announced on 20 January 2026. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The selected candidate is expected to join immediately. The selected candidate will also be required to enroll as a full-time, self-sponsored PhD student at IIT Ropar, with admission governed by the institute’s rules, including departmental shortlisting procedures such as a written test and/or interview. No financial support towards PhD tuition fees will be provided by the project or the institute.
  3. The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project, which has a total duration of five years. The initial appointment will be made for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
  4. Candidates applying with B.E./B.Tech. or M.Sc. qualifications must possess a valid GATE qualification at the time of application.
