- Interested and eligible candidates must apply online only through the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board portal at https://uppbpb.gov.in/Home/Notice by completing the One Time Registration (OTR) first with a unique email ID and mobile number and Aadhaar-based verification. After OTR, candidates should log in using their registration credentials to fill the online application form, upload all required documents (educational certificates, reservation/age-relaxation/ domicile certificates via DigiLocker or scanned copies), a live photograph, and a scanned signature, and submit the form. Government employees must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC). Candidates must ensure all details are correct before paying the fee because changes are not allowed after fee payment.
- Selection will be through a multi-stage process comprising an offline written examination (objective type), Document Verification (DV), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for DV and PST (qualifying in nature), after which those who clear it will appear in the computer typing test (Hindi & English) and Hindi shorthand test (for Sub-Inspector (Confidential) only). The final merit list will be prepared based on the normalized written examination marks, with reservation policy applied, and will be subject to medical examination and character verification.
- The application fee is ₹500 for General, EWS, and OBC candidates and ₹400 for SC and ST candidates. The fee must be paid online through the prescribed payment gateway on the official portal https://uppbpb.gov.in/Home/Notice, and the application will be considered valid only after successful payment of the fee.
- For Women Candidates: Age limit is 18 to 25 years as per the cut-off date mentioned in the notification.
