- Eligible candidates must apply online only through the Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) SAP Online Portal after completing One Time Registration. Applicants should carefully read the User Manual and FAQs available on the CSL Careers page (CMSRU, Mumbai) before applying. The online application window is open from 25 December 2025 to 19 January 2026. Candidates must upload all required documents including proof of age, educational qualification, experience, category, disability (if applicable), and a recent passport-size colour photograph. After successful submission, candidates should keep a copy of the application form with the registration number for future reference. No hard copy of the application or documents should be sent by post.
- Selection will be conducted through an offline written examination consisting of an Objective Type Test and a Descriptive Type Test for a total of 100 marks. The Objective Test will be held first, and only candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks will have their Descriptive Test evaluated. Final merit will be prepared based on aggregate marks obtained in both tests. In case of a tie, marks in the discipline-related objective section and then age seniority will be considered. CSL reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on eligibility before permitting them to appear for the selection process.
- An application fee of ₹400/- (non-refundable) must be paid online through debit card, credit card, or internet banking between 25 December 2025 and 19 January 2026. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from payment of the application fee. Applications will be considered valid only after successful fee payment.
