- Candidates must apply online only for the MPPSC State Service Examination 2026 through the official websites https://www.mponline.gov.in or https://www.mppsc.mp.gov.in. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be accepted. Applicants must upload a recent passport-size colour photograph and signature (file size between 25 KB and 200 KB); the photograph should contain the candidate’s name and date and must not be older than three months. Examination fees can be paid online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, or in cash through authorized MPONLINE kiosks. A correction window will be available from 15 January 2026 to 11 February 2026, with a correction fee of ₹50 per session.
- The MPPSC State Service Examination 2026 will be conducted in three stages. The Preliminary Examination will be an OMR-based MCQ examination with negative marking, conducted on 26 April 2026, and is meant only for screening candidates for the Main Examination. Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam will not be counted in the final merit. The Main Examination will be a written descriptive examination, followed by an Interview and Personality Test. The final selection will be based on the combined marks of the Main Examination and the Interview.
- Candidates who are original residents of Madhya Pradesh belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PwD categories must pay ₹250/-, while all other candidates and candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh must pay ₹500/-. An additional portal fee of ₹40/- (including service tax) is applicable to all candidates. Late applications can be submitted with a late fee of ₹3000/- from 10.02.2026 to 16.02.2026, and ₹25000/- from 17.02.2026 to 01.04.2026. Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Examination will be required to pay a separate fee for the Main Examination as per the schedule notified by MPPSC.
