- Candidates must apply online for the Combined Recruitment Examination-2025 (II) for the posts of Forester, Forest Guard, and Excise Constable through the official website of OSSSC (www.osssc.gov.in). New candidates must complete online registration, while already registered candidates must complete re-registration between 07 January 2026 and 31 January 2026. After registration/re-registration, candidates must fill and submit the online application form with correct details. Mere registration does not mean submission of the application. The last date for submission of the online application is 07 February 2026. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- Selection will be through a Combined Recruitment Examination conducted in multiple stages. Stage-I is a Written Test of 100 marks (MCQ type) covering Mathematics, General Studies, English, Odia, and Computer, with a duration of 1.5 hours and negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Candidates qualifying the written test will be shortlisted for Stage-II (Physical Test), which includes Physical Standard Measurement (PSM) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as per post-wise norms. Candidates qualifying the Physical Test will be called for Document Verification, followed by Counselling for post and district/circle/division allocation. Final selection will be based on merit-cum-preference.
- Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of ₹500/-. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories are exempted from payment of the examination fee.
