- Candidates must apply online through the Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) website https://hprca.hp.gov.in. Applicants are required to register on the portal, complete One-Time Registration by filling personal, educational and other details, upload photograph and signature, and then apply for the post of Junior Office Assistant (IT) as Job Trainee. After selecting the preferred examination district, candidates must pay the application fee of ₹800 (₹100 examination fee + ₹700 processing fee) through online mode. The online application window is open from 27.01.2026 (10:00 AM) to 27.02.2026 (11:59 PM). No offline applications will be accepted.
- Selection will be done through a Computer Based Test (CBT)/written screening test followed by a typing skill test. The CBT will be of 120 marks with multiple-choice questions based on 10+2 level subjects, computer/IT syllabus, general knowledge, current affairs, reasoning, English and Hindi. Candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks will be shortlisted for the typing test, which is qualifying in nature and requires a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi. Final selection will be based on performance as per the prescribed rules.
