- Online applications for Grade IV staff recruitment can be submitted from 22 January 2026 to 22 February 2026 through the official recruitment portal. There is no application fee. Candidates must register only once using their name, father’s name and mother’s name exactly as per Class VI/Class VIII/HSLC certificate or Birth Certificate. After registration, applicants must log in, apply for the relevant advertisement, upload the required documents, fill personal and academic details, upload photograph and signature, and download the acknowledgement slip. An edit option will be available for five days after the closing date for correcting typographical errors. Applications without required documents or with incorrect details will be rejected.
- Selection will be carried out through Medical Examination followed by Physical Standard Test (PST) and Trade Proficiency Test (TPT). Identity verification and biometric authentication will be conducted before and after the tests. PST is qualifying in nature and carries no marks, while the Trade Proficiency Test carries 50 marks with a minimum qualifying requirement of 33%. Candidates failing at any stage will be eliminated. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise based solely on marks obtained in the Trade Proficiency Test, and in case of a tie, older candidates will be ranked higher, followed by height as the next tie-breaker.
- Applicant must be a Citizen of India and Permanent Resident of Assam.
- The Applicant must be registered with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
- The Applicant must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
- Required certificates in relevant fields.
