- Candidates seeking empanelment as Casual Broadcast Assistants at Akashvani, Cuttack must apply in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-A). The duly filled application should be sent by post or courier to The Head of Office, Akashvani, Cantonment Road, Cuttack – 753001 (Odisha). The application must reach the office on or before 25 February 2026. Applications that are incomplete or received after the due date will not be considered.
- Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of ₹354/- for General category candidates and ₹266/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates. The fee may be paid either through a Bank Draft drawn in favour of the Drawing & Disbursing Officer, All India Radio, Cuttack, or by depositing the amount into SBI Account No. 10861705257 (IFSC: SBIN0000059). Proof of payment/receipt must be enclosed with the application, failing which the application will be rejected.
- The selection procedure consists of two stages. First, candidates will appear for a written test on general knowledge and current affairs. Those who secure 50% or above in the written test will be eligible to appear for the practical proficiency test, which assesses computer operations and handling/editing of various audio and video formats. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the written test or practical proficiency test.
- Candidates must possess a Professional Diploma in Radio Production from a recognized institute.
