- Candidates applying for the post of Stenographer Grade-III (English) on Adhoc Basis must download the prescribed application format from the official website https://karnal.dcourts.gov.in/. The duly filled application should be accompanied by self-attested copies of all relevant testimonials and affixed with a recent passport-size photograph, duly attested. The envelope containing the application must be clearly superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF STENOGRAPHER GRADE-III ON ADHOC BASIS” and sent to the Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Judicial Courts Complex, Sector-12, Karnal (Haryana). The application must reach the office on or before 13 February 2026 by 5:00 PM. Incomplete applications, applications received after the due date, advance copies, or applications sent through email will not be entertained.
- Selection will be based on a Shorthand Skill Test and Computer Proficiency Test. Candidates must qualify a test at a speed of 80 words per minute in English Shorthand and 20 words per minute in transcription on a computer. Candidates must also qualify the Computer Proficiency Test (Word Processing and Spreadsheets), which is qualifying in nature and will not be counted towards final merit. The select list will be prepared purely on merit. The test is tentatively scheduled for the last week of February 2026, and details regarding the venue, date, and time will be uploaded on the official website. No separate call letters will be issued. Candidates must bring their original testimonials and valid identity proof at the time of the tests. The final result will be published on the official website.
