- How to Apply : Interested candidates must first register on the appropriate government apprenticeship portal (Trade/Vocational Apprentices on the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship portal; Graduate/Technician Apprentices on the NATS portal) and apply using Establishment Registration No. E08153200007. Candidates must then submit the duly filled application form (Annexure-A) along with self-attested copies of required documents to The DGM (HRM), IREL (India) Limited, Chavara, Kollam District, Kerala – 691583. The envelope should be superscribed as prescribed in the notification. Candidates can apply for one trade only. The application must reach the office on or before 24.02.2026. No application fee is mentioned.
- Selection Process : Selection will be based on a merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the prescribed educational qualification. In case of a tie, higher marks and then seniority in date of birth will be considered. Priority will be given to Land Affected Category candidates, Mining/Peripheral village candidates (within 10 km radius), wards of serving employees, candidates from Kollam District, and Kerala State, in that order. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification, followed by medical examination. Final engagement is subject to being declared medically fit and submission of a Police Verification Certificate.
- Duration : The apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year.
