- How to Apply : Candidates must apply online only through the ICMR recruitment portal at https://recruitment.icmr.org.in. No hard copy of the application is required to be sent to ICMR Headquarters. Applicants must upload self-attested documents including proof of Date of Birth, educational qualifications, and experience (where applicable). The last date for submission of online application is 28th February 2026 up to 5:30 PM, which will also be the crucial date for determining age eligibility.
- Selection Process : Shortlisting will be based on criteria fixed by ICMR. Initially, candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility requirements (age, qualification, and experience) will be shortlisted. If the number of eligible candidates is large, further shortlisting will be done based on suitable criteria decided by the Appointing Authority (DG, ICMR). Candidates working in Government/PSU/Government-funded institutions must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of personal discussion, confirming that they will be relieved within one month of appointment.
- Application Fee : The application fee is ₹1500/-, payable online through the link provided in the application form. SC/ST/Women/PwBD/EWS candidates are exempted from payment of the fee
- 6-month Fire Training Course and Heavy Vehicle Driving License is required
