Job Details
- How to Apply : Eligible candidates must apply online through the official website of Chandigarh Police at http://chandigarhpolice.gov.in from 10.02.2026 to 02.03.2026 (till 11:59 PM).
- Selection Process : Selection will consist of a Written Test (50 marks) followed by a Trade Proficiency Test (TPT) (50 marks). The Written Test will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 0.5 mark each, with negative marking of 0.25 mark for every incorrect answer. The paper will cover relevant trade subjects along with General English, Arithmetic, Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness. Candidates will be shortlisted for the TPT in the ratio of 4:1 based on written test merit. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in both stages (100 marks). In case of a tie, the older candidate will rank higher.
- Application Fee : ₹200/- payable through offline challan only.
- Duration : The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years. Successful completion of a mandatory induction training of at least two weeks is required for completion of probation.
- Qualifications : Candidates must possess an ITI Certificate in Cutting and Tailoring/Sewing Technology trade from a Government-recognized Industrial Training Institute.
