- How to Apply : Candidates must first register on the NAPS portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) or NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) depending on the trade. After obtaining the registration/enrolment number, candidates must apply online through the POWERGRID website www.powergrid.in under Careers → Engagement of Apprentices → Apply Online. Applications will be accepted only in online mode. The application window is open from 02.03.2026 to 11.03.2026
- Selection Process : Applications will be shortlisted based on merit according to the eligibility criteria and qualification for the respective trade. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification in a ratio of 1:5 against the number of training slots. A final merit list will be prepared based on candidates found eligible during document verification. There is no written test or interview.
- Duration : The apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year from the date of joining and will automatically terminate after completion of the training period.
