  1. How to Apply : Candidates must download the prescribed application form (Annexure-A) and other annexures from the Rail Wheel Factory website https://rwf.indianrailways.gov.in. The completed application form must be submitted before 01.04.2026 (17:00 hrs).The application should be sent by Registered Post or dropped in the designated drop box at the Office of the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Personnel Department, Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore – 560064
  2. Selection Process : Selection will be based on a merit list prepared according to the percentage of marks obtained in the 10th/Matriculation examination (minimum 50% marks). In case of a tie, the candidate older in age will be given preference, and if the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed the matriculation examination earlier will be considered. Trade allotment will be made according to merit and applicable reservation rules.
  3. Duration : The apprenticeship training period is one year for trades such as Fitter, Machinist, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Turner, Electrician, and Electronic Mechanic, and six months for the COE Group (CNC Programming-cum-Operator).
  4.  Application fee is ₹100 through IPO/DD; SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Women candidates are exempted.
