- How to Apply: Candidates must apply online through the official website of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission at http://www.hppsc.hp.gov.in/hppsc.
- Selection Process: The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by a personality test. The written examination will include Paper-I, an objective type screening test, and Paper-II, a descriptive Subject Aptitude Test. Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the personality test. In cases where the number of candidates is limited, applicants may be called directly for the personality test.
- Application Fee: Candidates belonging to the General category, EWS (not BPL), Wards of Freedom Fighters, and candidates from other states must pay ₹600. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, and EWS (UR BPL) categories of Himachal Pradesh must pay ₹150, while Ex-Servicemen of Himachal Pradesh (after full tenure) and Blind/Visually Impaired candidates of Himachal Pradesh are exempted from paying the fee.
